Museum Staff Training
I
often Mentor - Professionals, media teachers, website
designers and those developing digital productions in their jobs. I do
this in a number of different ways, from one to one tutorials to running
staff training sessions that develop media skills.
More Museums are developing resources and material for a digital audience.
Two day workshop with the Museum Resource Centre staff, Standlake, Witney.
The workshop days involved planning, scripting and developing a shot list. Through to filming and editing the final project.

What staff have said:
Sharon’s training was really useful. It was well structured and hands on. It gave me the confidence to produce short films in a professional manner.
Christiane Jeuckens – Museum Resource Centre Manager, Head of Conservation
Our enthusiasm is still high from the training and we are raring to go thanks for all your support.
Samantha van de Geer ACR (Ba, Ma) – Object Conservator and Keeper Textile Collections
Sharon’s well-structured, practical and fun training session gave us the skills, confidence and enthusiasm to make our own short films documenting every aspect of museum work, and helped us to embrace new technologies and new ways of communicating directly with the digital audience.
David Moon – Curator of Archaeology, Oxfordshire Museums Service
